L'Association Internationale des Travailleurs (AIT), Première Internationale ouvrière, a été fondée le 28 septembre 1864 à Londres. Marquer le coup des 150 ans de l'AIT offrirait une bonne occasion de (re)mettre au goût du jour l'idée de la coordination internationale des travailleurs contre le capitalisme. Ce serait aussi l’occasion de rediscuter une perspective débattue il y a 15-20 ans dans l'extrême gauche: celle d'organisations qui rassemblent les différents courants et sensibilités du mouvement ouvrier et révolutionnaire, anarchistes et marxiste notamment.

La Chorale des Sans Nom propose d’initier un événement pour les 150 ans de l’AIT, les (13-)14-15 juin 2014 à Nancy. Elle lance l’initiative, mais ne souhaite pas être seule organisatrice: des syndicats, associations, revues, réseaux divers et variés s’inscrivant dans l’héritage révolutionnaire et internationaliste de l’AIT doivent pouvoir s’y associer. Mais aussi d’autres projets, culturels ou universitaires, qui souhaiteraient s’y greffer.

A cette heure, nous pourrions disposer d’un lieu relativement étendu (plusieurs salles + un terrain, de quoi réunir plusieurs centaines de personnes, monter une scène, des stands, etc.); d’une possibilité d’hébergement de 150 personnes à prix modéré (20€/nuit), en plus de l’hébergement militant, pour les personnes extérieures à la ville. Conjointement à l’événement, Jean-Luc Marino envisage de réaliser un documentaire sur les 150 ans de l’AIT, pour diffusion sur une chaîne publique.

Les premières pistes envisagées sont les suivantes (liste non exhaustive):

• un meeting international, avec des militants syndicalistes et révolutionnaires de différents pays (Grèce, Tunisie, Egypte, USA...);
• une manifestation internationaliste en ville;
• des débats multiples: historiques, sur l’actualité internationale, les révolutions du monde arabe, la coordination des luttes en Europe;
• un "salon du livre", avec des revues et des éditeurs engagés;
• des projections de films et débats avec des cinéastes;
• des débats avec des sociologues/historiens un peu connus, organisés par/avec des gens et/ou syndicats de la fac;
• une partie choralistique: la Chorale des Sans Nom invitera deux ou trois chorales révolutionnaires d’Angleterre, d’Italie, d’Allemagne...
• une partie musicale et festive: fanfares, groupes militants et néanmoins musiciens, de quoi animer la soirée du samedi;
• des performances artistiques et expos qui vont avec; des tournois sportifs (pétanque, ping pong, pêche à la mouche dans le canal); des jeux du cirque avec des chrétiens dévorés par des lions, etc.

Celebrating 150 years of the First International

The International Workers Association (AIT) was founded on September 28, 1864 in London.  Marking this historical occasion, the launch of the revolutionary role of the world proletariat, presents a timely opportunity for us today to revitalize the idea of international coordination of workers against capitalism.

It would also be an opportunity to revisit a perspective discussed some 15-20 years ago among the far left:  the organizations that bring together those differing currents of opinion and concerns that exist in the labor movement, notably those of anarchists and Marxists. 

The Chorale des Sans Nom proposes to initiate just such an event celebrating these 150 years of AIT on 13-14-15 July in Nancy, France.  By launching this initiative we do not wish to be the only organizers:  unions, associations, journals / newspapers, various networks that support the revolutionary and internationalist legacy of AIT are free to join us.  Other projects or collectives, cultural or academic, are naturally also welcome.

To date, we have a relatively large venue available to us (several large rooms and an outdoor space to host several hundred people, with an area appropriate for building a stage, stands, etc.).  We also have the possibility for accommodation for 150 people at a moderate rate (estimate 20 euro per night) in addition to activist accommodation, for those coming to Nancy from out of town. 

In conjunction with the event, Jean-Luc Marino will film a documentary on this 150^th anniversary of AIT, for release on a public channel.

The first planned events are as follows (non-exhaustive list):

• An international meeting with trade union activists and revolutionaries from different countries (Greece, Tunisia, Egypt, US..);
• An internationalist demonstration to be held in Nancy;
• Multiple debates on a range of topics: historical, international current events, the revolutions of the Arab world, coordinating the fight in Europe;
• A book fair with committed members of the press and publishers;
• Screenings of films and discussions with filmmakers;
• Discussions with less-known sociologists and historians organized by/with people and/or unions of the University of Lorraine;
• A singing part– the Chorale des Sans Nom will invite two or three revolutionary choir groups from England, Italy and Germany.
• A musical and festivities part – fanfares, militant groups and alas musicians to animate Saturday evening;
•  Artistic performances and exhibitions ranging from: sports tournaments (pétanque, ping-pong, fly-fishing in the canal), circus games with Christians being devoured by lions, etc.
  

To further discuss the organization of all of the above and the general framework, a first meeting will be organized on Friday, September 13 at the Grand Sauvoy (Maxéville).  Please forward this information to unions, associations, networks, magazines and anyone likely to be interested.

Celebrando i 150 anni della Prima Internazionale

L’International Workers Association (Associazione Internazionale dei Lavoratori – Prima Internazionale, AIL) è stata fondata a Londra il 28 Settembre 1864. Questa occasione storica ci fornisce una buona occasione per (ri)mettere all’ordine del giorno l’idea della coordinazione internazionale dei lavoratori contro il capitalismo.

Questa sara’ anche l’occasione per ridiscutere una prospettiva dibattuta 15-20 anni fa nell’estrema sinistra: quella di organizzazioni che riuniscono le varie correnti e sensibilita’ del movimento operaio e rivoluzionario, specialmente quelle anarchiche e marxiste.

La Chorale des Sans Nom (Coro dei Senza Nome) propone di lanciare un evento per i 150 anni dell’AIL il (13)-14-15 Giugno a Nancy (Francia). I Sans Nom non vogliono pero’ essere gli unici organizzatori: i sindacati, le associazioni, le riviste, varie e diverse reti che fanno parte dell’eredita’ rivoluzionaria e internazionalista dell’AIL devono potersi associare. Naturalmente, altri progetti o collettivi, culturali o accademici, sono i benvenuti.

Al momento, possiamo disporre di un’area relativamente spaziosa (diverse sale piu’ uno spazio all’aperto in cui riunire diverse centinaia di persone, allestire un palco, degli stand, eccetera); di una possibilita’ di alloggio per 150 persone a prezzo moderato (20 €/notte), oltre all’alloggio militante, per coloro che non abitano a Nancy.

Allo stesso tempo, Jean-Luc Marino ha intenzione di realizzare un documentario sui 150 anni dell’ AIL, da diffondere su un canale pubblico.

Un programma iniziale include (lista non esaustiva):

• Un meeting internazionale con attivisti dei sindacati e rivoluzionari di paesi diversi (Grecia, Tunisia, Egitto, USA...)
• Una manifestazione internazionalista nella citta’ di Nancy;
• Diversi dibattiti su una varieta’ di temi: storici, attualita’ internazionale, le rivoluzioni nel mondo arabo, la coordinazione delle lotte in Europa;
• Un “salone del libro”, con riviste e editori impegnati;
• Proiezione di film e dibattito con gli autori;
• Discussioni con sociologi e storici, organizzate da e con la gente e/o i sindacati dell’Universita’ di Lorena;
• Una componente di canto – la Chorale des Sans Nom invitera’ due o tre cori rivoluzionari dal’Inghilterra, Italia, e Germania;
• Delle performances artistiche e mostre che variano da tornei sportivi (bocce, ping-pong, pesca con la mosca nel canale) ai giochi circensi con i Cristiani divorati dai leoni, eccetera.
